Job Advert Role Description

Priory Education & Children's Services are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper / Cook who will be responsible for all housekeeping and cooking duties within the children's home. 

Rated “Good” by Ofsted, our Children’s Home is situated in Outwell, which is in-between Wisbech and Downham Market.  It’s a 4 bedded home for males aged 8-18.  The home seeks to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which the young people can be supported to achieve their potential and work on their independent skills.

As the Housekeeper, your role will be to ensure that the home is cleaned to a consistently high standard, providing a welcoming, healthy and safe environment.  Following a defined cleaning schedule; you will be responsible for a wide variety of general cleaning duties including hoovering, mopping, washing and ironing.  You will also be responsible for the grocery shopping and meal preparation.

A full driving license is required for this role.
