Job Advert Role Description

Burton Park is a neurobehavioural locked rehabilitation hopsital for patients with acquired brain injury and neuroprogressive conditions patient displaying co-existing neuropsychiatric conditions and challenging behaviour. 

There are three wards offering 50 beds. Warwick Lodge, Dalby and Cleves. A variety of care pathways are available, including acute and longer-term neurobehavioural rehabilitation and person-centred care, emphasising the least restrictive setting.

The multi-disciplinary team includes psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, social workers and medical. 


We are currently looking for a Maintenance Administrator and Driver to support the Maintenance team at Burton Park Hospital. You will be required to administer The Maintenance Departments compliance function, complete statutory inspections recording findings through data entry and analysis using Excel, Word and Outlook. 

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintaining The Maintenance Departments site compliance Evidence folders.
• Completing statutory inspections which need to be completed weekly, monthly or biannually. 
• Monitor and implement changes in documentation and process, provided by The Group’s Central Health & Safety Department.
• Monitor & update The maintenance Departments reactive works tracker. 
• Production of a number of departmental KPI reports.
• Provide on-site supervision for third party Contractors.
• Liaise with Contractors ensuring provision of project quotations and associated RAMMS.
• Create and provide weekly reports for Site Service Manager.

Experience required:
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. 
• Previous working knowledge of a maintenance planning systems would be an advantage but not a requirement. 
• Previous working knowledge of Statutory Compliance, would be an advantage but not a requirement. 
• Ability to take meter, temperature readings and complete equipment inspections.
• Broad and demonstrable administrative experience and good organisational skills. 
• Be able to produce good standard KPI's on a weekly/monthly basis 
• Fluent in English
