Job Advert Role Description

Newcombe Lodge provides a unique package of care and support 24hours a day and 365 days a year, for some of the most vulnerable Children and Young people age 13 - 18 in our care system.

Our aim here at Newcombe Lodge is to ensure that the Children and Young people we invest in have the best residential experience in a homely environment. Care here is individually tailored and we aim to make the experience as positive and beneficial as possible. We work hard to meet individual needs and truly invest in our Children and Young people’s future.

Your role:

• To contribute to the provision of residential care and therapeutic services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, with particular emphasis on ensuring effective communication between Case Managers, Therapeutic Staff and Management.  
• To monitor and supervise the STCW / case manager role
• To work as part of a small team working within clear policies, procedures and care plan guidelines.  
• As a member of the multi-disciplinary care team, contribute to care planning and delivery.  
• Contribute to a full therapeutic service for Young people.  
• Undertake work within the level of own competence, under supervision from senior staff. 
• To case manage a young people as directed by the Registered Manager and to be responsible for liaising with outside agencies. 

The post will come under the day-to-day supervision of the Registered Manager.
