As a Shift Leader, you will lead your assigned shift taking responsibility for a small team of staff and a group of young people to ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic wellbeing.

This is a 52 week post, working 42.75 hours per week.  You will work in the residential setting and must be prepared to work on a shift system including early, late and weekend shifts.

Tadley Court is part of Priory Education, one of the UK’s leading providers of schools and colleges for young people with complex needs. The Gatehouse is a residential home on the grounds of Tadley Court School.

Our home is set in a semi-rural location within four acres of beautifully mature grounds and we specialise in the care and education of pupils between the ages of 5 to 19, who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties.  Children may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.

Within our safe, structured and predictable environment, pupils will develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible, so that they are able to enjoy their lives and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
