Job Advert Role Description

Located in Liverpool, Vancouver House is a purpose-built specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities, who may also present with co-existing conditions. These include sensory impairment and epilepsy

The Priory Group is currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join our established team at Vancouver House.

With no two days the same the ideal candidate will be a confident individual, capable of making decisions in line with company policy and procedure whilst having the service users best interests at the heart of the decision making process. We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role that has the passion and drive support the site into becoming an outstanding service.

Working alongside the Service Manager the successful candidate will be required to line manage a team of staff and have knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring they comply with the requirements of CQC and other statutory regulators.

As Deputy Manager you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and manage the Service to the highest standards, ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.

We are looking for an RMN/RGN/RNLD with significant experience in leading a large team of Registered Nurses and Support Workers. We are particularly looking for someone who has excellent people management skills, strong clinical knowledge and experience in change management. This role would suit a current Registered Manager who is looking to have experience working at a larger site or a current Deputy Manager who is working in a large residential service.
