Job Advert Role Description

A Household Cleaner is required to join us in our existing Household team covering the Children's Homes in our Southampton area. 

We are looking for a household cleaner to maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the residential homes, in line with operational standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

The successful candidate will:-

  • Ensure that Priory minimum standards are delivered across the home in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team
  • Identify and report damage, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department or manager to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Previous cleaning experience is an advantage however full training will be provided.

The hours would be spread over four days, from Monday to Thursday – this totals 5 hours a day. There is some flexibility as to when the hours could be completed with a start time between 08:00 to 09:00 and then obviously the finish time will match accordingly between 13:00 to 14:00.

A driving license is not essential however would be an advantage.

Priory Group Lyndhurst is composed of several schools and education provisions and the subsequent residential homes. Our main campus is based in Lyndhurst and we offer a unique integration of education, care and therapy to young people aged 5 to 19 with complex needs.

Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
