Apple mews is one of Priory Adult cares specialist services, it is a modern, purpose built site; split into several bungalows with 5/6 residents in each bungalow. In total the site is home to 30 service users living with learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions. Each support worker is assigned to one bungalow, encouraging relationship building between staff and service users.

Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Group is currently looking for a Deputy Manager to join our established team at Apple Mews

With no two days the same the ideal candidate will be a confident individual, capable of making decisions in line with company policy and procedure whilst having the service users best interests at the heart of the decision making process. We are looking for someone with experience in a similar role that has the passion and drive support the site into becoming an outstanding service.

Working alongside the Service Manager the successful candidate will be required to line manage a team of staff and have knowledge, understanding and experience of relevant legislation ensuring they comply with the requirements of RQIA and other statutory regulators.

As Deputy Manager you will take pride in providing the highest standards of care to all residents and manage the Service to the highest standards, ensuring the people who use our services can be supported to live as independently as possible and achieve their goals.

We are looking for an RMN/RGN/RNLD with significant experience in leading a large team of Registered Nurses and Support Workers. We are particularly looking for someone who has excellent people management skills, strong clinical knowledge and experience in change management.
