Job Advert Role Description

Our Children's home in Whiston, Rotherham, is currently recruiting for a Registered Manager to join their family .  This exciting opportunity within our Senior Management Team will provides support to 5 young people between the age of 9 - 18 that have emotional and behavioural difficulties and complex diagnoses such as ASD. Our young people do have behaviours that challenge so you will need to be emotionally resilient and able to cope with change.

*This position will attract a welcome bonus of £1,000 (terms and conditions apply) and a Relocation package is available if you are looking to move to South Yorkshire.

As an Ofsted Registered Manager for our Children's home in Whiston, Rotherham, you will take complete responsibility for the running of the service provision.  The successful candidate will be maintain and improve on the already high standards in the home in line with the company's expectations.

You'll be providing leadership, support and direction for the well-established care team and champion the Company’s ethos.  Working with professionals from a wide range of different disciplines, liaising with outside agencies and stakeholders, you will demonstrate professionalism and act as a role model for staff.

Whilst this role does offer challenges, it also delivers a personal achievement when you are able to help our young people to lead lives that are fulfilled, full of opportunities and aspirational.

The successful applicant will need to have had a wide range of experience as a child care practitioner having managed teams in a residential setting.  A Level 5 Diploma / DipSW qualifications or equivalent are essential to this role.

Due to the nature of the role a full driving licence is required.
