Job Advert Role Description

Priory Hospital Bristol is part of the Healthcare Division of Priory Group and has 86 beds over eight wards varying from Eating Disorders, Acute Mental Health, Adult Psychiatric Intensive Care, Acquired Brain Injury, Huntingdon’s and Dementia.

Administrator required to provide efficient, professional and effective administrative support within a Priory unit ensuring that all core financial processes are efficiently with full use of systems and within Priory’s policies.


• Ensure that all financial processes are carried s across site efficiently.

• Management of Petty Cash, Patient Activity Money and Access to patient cash.

• Support various departments with financial processing.

• Manage queries regarding financial processing and support with implementing any changes to policy and procedure across site.

• Ensure there is cover for staff responsible for financial processing across site re A/L and sickness.

• Provide central finance team with information on budgets

• Assist with the creation and improvement of processes and inovations.

• Ensure all payments are processed within timescales.

The post holder will have:

•Ability to understand & analyse an issue or problem and to develop & suggest corrective actions

•Good interpersonal skills and team player

•Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

•Decision making, problem-solving and analytical skills

•Strong IT skills, particularly MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Teams)

•Organisational skills
