Opportunity for a Triage Team Leader
up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for a hard-working and dedicated Triage Team Leader to provide guidance and leadership to our team to evaluate and make crucial, effective and timely clinical decisions for our hospitals around referrals into the company regarding potential patients.   This is ensure that patients are in the right setting clinical setting to enable their recovery.

• Line Manage a small team of employees
Work with the Hospital representatives and your team on referrals being submitted
• Work with closely with customers service team. 
• Work with the hospital to understand bed availability within their service and the relevant service line required
• Understand the varying service lines offered, to ensure the best setting is selected for potential patients being referred 
• Become an integral part of the business, enhancing the management of referrals into our hospitals
• Maintain effective relations with Call Service Centre and Sites to ensure the most effective admission process, adhering to service level agreement
• Escalating any barriers to admissions at site to Team Lead, CSC SMT, site SMT and or Regional SMT where required
• Monitor and evaluate the admissions process and review efficiency on a regular basis 
• Providing support and guidance to your team  
Person specification: 
• A registered healthcare professional, whether that be a RMN, RGN, OT or Social Worker.
• Confident in working independently to make clinical decisions
• Good risk assessment skills
• Great leadership skills
• Excellent both verbal and written communication skills
• Experience of working as a healthcare professional in acute settings
• Experience of working within a PiCU setting
• Experience of leading a team

Colleagues must be aware of local child and adult protection procedures and who to contact within the Local Authority Safeguarding team for further advice. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding awareness training and to undertake additional training appropriate to their role.
