Job Advert Role Description


Priory Hospital Glasgow is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a range of conditions including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. Located in the leafy Southside area of Glasgow, the hospital is set behind two striking Georgian villas and offers patients a relaxed environment, to aid their recovery. Our aim is to offer fast access to high quality treatment and improve the lives of every individual who seeks support with us.

The role:

This role is for an experienced clinical or counselling Psychologist to work within our Eating Disorder Inpatient Unit, working alongside a diverse medical and nursing team. This unit caters for high acuity eating disorder patients from throughout the UK.

The role includes working with patients both individually and in a group setting, attending MDT meetings, family meetings and case conferences. Previous experience of working with eating disorders and personality disorders is desirable but not essential.  The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team is of key importance. You must be registered with HCPC.
