23.3 hours per week. 3 shifts on 6 off - 10hr shifts - 10PM - 8AM

Job Advert Role Description

Moorfield House is a semi rural Children’s  Home on the outskirts of Temple Normanton village near Chesterfield.  We care for up to 3 young people aged 9-16+ years exhibiting Behavioural, Emotional, and Social Difficulties

Moorfield House tries to replicate a caring, family environment that provides the opportunities that will hopefully one day help our young people to lead positve and rewarding lives. we are looking for dedicated, caring and passionate people to support our Young People.

Previous experience of working with Young People who can exhibit challenging behaviours would be desirable.  However, if you have the right personality we will support you to gain and develop the experience.  It is essential that applicants have either attained or are prepared to work towards Level 3 Diploma Residential Childcare qualification.  If you feel that you can help us and our young people then please get in contact.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
