Priory Hospital Hayes Grove is a private 46-bed acute psychiatric hospital for adults, located on the edge of London in Hayes, Kent.

 

The hospital provides care and treatment for patients with a wide range of mental health issues both as inpatients and day patients. Hayes Grove specialises in providing care for patients with acute mental health conditions, addiction issues - both drug and alcohol, and also has a specialist Eating Disorders unit and NHS acute service. The hospital is situated close to excellent transport links to central London, Croydon and Bromley areas and parking is available locally.

We are currently looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with patients across our NHS acute and Eating Disorders units.

 

Applicants will be required to:

 

Carry out OT assessments to identify patient needs, before planning and delivering the appropriate interventions on either an individual or group basis.

 

Manage and co-ordinate individual OT treatment plans, facilitate groups and oversee the unit programmes.

 

Write up regular OT reports and attend multi-disciplinary meetings.

 

Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues, ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards.

 

Maintain effective communication links with patients, relatives and carers.

 

HCPC registration and previous experience of working with adults with mental health conditions is essential.

 

Good communication skills and a flexible approach are essential.
