Job Advert Role Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Policy Facilitator to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the Group Director of Nursing, the Audit and Policy Facilitator will undertake 2 key roles on behalf of the Healthcare Division. They will oversee and manage the Divisional systems for undertaking clinical and process audits, ensuring that the annual schedule is complied with and that submissions, reporting and learning are effectively managed. In addition to this the post-holder will be responsible in ensuring that all Divisional policies are reviewed, updated and publicised in line with an agreed annual schedule. 

Audit and Policy Facilitator duties include but are not limited to

  • Managing safe systems of data submission for audits that meet the relevant information governance requirements
  • Providing summary data and support the analysis of audit information in conjunction with the relevant Divisional lead
  • Preparing audit reports and work with the relevant Divisional lead to develop their content and recommendations
  • Providing summary updates on all audit activity to relevant Clinical Governance meetings as per a pre-agreed schedule
  • Overseeing the review and update of all Division specific policies and associated documents, working in liaison with the Group Policy Manager as required

What we would like from the Audit and Policy Facilitator

  • Educated to degree level or have relevant work experience
  • Skilled in use of Excel and relevant databases
  • Knowledge of clinical audit and learning processes
  • Work within a Health or Social Care provider
  • Previous experience in a relevant audit or policy management role
