About the role :

We are looking for an experienced RMN/RNLD to take on the role as a highly motivated and committed Ward Manager on Manor Ward. The successful candidate will take an active role in managing the uni.

They will have proven leadership skills, along with a strong drive to develop themselves and the dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team. The successful candidate will directly participate in patient care, managing the ward and offer a high standard of care to the service users that we work with.

Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience at Staff Nurse/Deputy Ward Manager level.in ATP is ideal but not essential.

The successful candidate will be expected to be a motivated leader, with excellent proven managerial and leadership skills that continuously strives for the highest standards of quality care and has patient safety at the forefront of the services and care provided.  You will be provided with excellent training and personal development opportunities and will be well supported by networks within the hospital and the wider organisation

We provide a diverse range of inpatient services, including acute and psychiatric intensive care for adults (including our unique 18-25 year old service), child and adolescent mental health, specialist eating disorder (including day care) and private acute and addictions treatment programmes.  Our multi-disciplinary teams take great pride in delivering personalised treatment programmes to our patients and have established an excellent reputation for providing the highest standards of care.

The Manor is a 9 bedded Private Mental Health ward providing assessment and treatment for general psychiatric and/or addiction treatment for Adults. The unique and exciting opportunity at this service means that you are working with individuals who are self-funding their treatment and in a place that they wish to actively engage in their recovery.

Our clients do not arrive with us in a midst of acute crisis but instead at a point which they feel that changes need to be made or support is required at that time.

We utilise a range of therapeutic approaches, the 12 step program, consultant psychiatry but also nursing to finish the team approach to treatment and recovery for this client group.

The service is a modern and innovative service with a stylish design more akin to a hotel rather than a hospital. The team work closely together to ensure that they have a clear client centred purpose to their stay and work through their holistic goals.
