Job Advert Role Description

Located close to Moseley Village, Mayfield House is a 7 bedded unit, which  provides individualised care for women recovering from severe and enduring mental health illness.
Our aim is to help residents regain skills and develop positive risk-taking in order to move into education and employment.

We look at what can be achieved for each person, their abilities, interests and needs. We work within a positive environment to encourage confidence, bring structure, inclusion and opportunity in their lives.

A critical member of the Ward team, supporting and assisting the Deputy Ward Manager in the day to day care of patients. 

Assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual  care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing and dignity and treatment of all patients.
To develop and build professional relationship with patients, staff and external professionals. To contribute to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team. 
To assist in the maintenance of the ward cleanliness and tidiness to minimise infection control as per policy and procedures.
