We’re currently looking for a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to service our Young Peoples Units and to add to the wider therapy team - we are one of the Priory Groups largest hospitals and we pride ourselves on having a dynamic and multi-skilled team.

An exciting opportunity exists for a full-time CBT Therapist to join a dynamic psychology department providing input to our Young People's Inpatient Service. As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, you will be working both autonomously as a clinician and also in collaboration with the wards clinical psychologist; there is an emphasis on integrative working both with clinicians in service and with the young people and their families. As an expereinced CBT Therapist, you will be drawing on your skills of psychological assessment and formulation, to engage young people in this process though a person-centred appraoch which values interdisciplinary working.

The role of a CBT Therapist on Orchard unit involves conducting psychological assessments, delivery of evidence based, NICE indicated psychotherapeutic appraoches, and facillitation of the psychologically- informed skills groups for the young people. Supporting psychological thinking within the team will form an important aspect of the role, having input into the wards' weekly formulation meetings and reflective practice groups offer a significant contribution to this, in additon to regular professional liaison, MDT meetings and CPA reviews
