Job Advert Location Description

Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Do you want to join a service where you can make a difference every day? If so, we have the perfect role for you! Knowing that you are making a difference to people’s lives is rewarding in itself. However, our many roles offer much more than that. As well as helping you grow and develop your talent, we want you to feel proud of where you work and what you do.

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Hospital Director to join us at Priory Hospital North London. Located in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands. It is one of the UK’s leading centres for the treatment of a wide range of mental health difficulties including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Since North London first opened its doors in 1986, we have worked tirelessly to establish our excellent reputation as a specialist provider of mental health care. We are able to offer fast access to expert treatment for adults and young people between the ages of 12 and 18.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the operational management and lead the overall function of the Hospital, including full P&L accountability. You will take responsibility for effectively implementing hospital policies and procedures to enable the provision of a high-quality service, both in respect of patient care and employee engagement. This role offers plenty of variety and everyday will be different but some duties will include:

  • Leading the Senior Management team on site on all aspects of day to day business.
  • Leading and developing a culture where the very highest standards of safety, quality and excellent patient care are consistently delivered.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic external relationships
  • Driving recruitment and retention plans on site
  • Reviewing any audit or inspections reports ensuring compliance with all statutory regulatory bodies

To recognise your hard work, we would like to offer you:

  • A competitive salary plus a car allowance
  • £3000.00 towards relocating if the move is more than 100 miles or £1500.00 if the move is less than 100 miles
  • Comprehensive induction and commitment to ongoing training
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays plus a day off for your birthday!
  • Access to our Priory Perks app – save your self money at lots of highstreet retailers, restaurants and other services
  • Free on-site parking
  • Enhanced maternity pay
  • Long service award
