Job Advert Role Description

Part of Priory Education and Children’s Services, our day school is for young people aged 16 to 19 years with severe to mild autistic spectrum disorder and associated learning difficulties.  Pupils may also have challenging behavior as a result of their communication difficulties and a lack of social understanding.

 

Progression House offers a safe, structured and predictable environment for pupils to develop the skills they need to live as independently as possible and make real life choices as they reach adulthood. 

This role involves general maintenance around the school, including regular H&S checks and repairs, along with vehicle checks and refuelling. As a key holder you may also be required to unlock the site in the mornings, when required.

 

•           You will be highly skilled, conscientious and hardworking, reliable and proactive

•           You must hold a full driving licence

•           Experience in a similar role or setting would be valuable, but is not essential

•           You should also be flexible and be willing to assist at our other sites from time-to-time when required.

 

This is a part-time role of 15 hours per week, 8am-11am, Monday to Friday.
