We have an exciting opportunity for a HRIS Application Lead to join the team and support our growing business. Reporting to the HRIS Manager, the HRIS Application Lead will be play a major part in developing, delivering and maintaining the in-scope people applications within the HR remit across Priory Group platforms and processes.

This role is based at our Leicester offices.

Job Advert Role Description

HRIS Application Lead duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with the ongoing development and upgrade of the HR & Payroll Information System and all other People related applications.
  • Explore opportunities not yet utilised within the information systems and develop these in line with business requirements.
  • Develop our current application design and focus on future designs.
  • Providing extraordinary customer support, creative problem-solving abilities to deliver straightforward solutions to customers in fairly complex environment.
  • Act as a point of escalation for the People Applications and update key stake holders on system performance.
  • Work in conjunction with the HRIS manager to develop and deliver the employee self -service platform.
  • Support HRIS Manager in the delivery of HRIS Road Map and influence the next generation of HRIS applications and business processes.
  • Configure and effectively utilise the capabilities of HRIS applications
  • Supporting the translation of business needs into functional requirements as well as evaluating and recommending best practice approach.
  • Performing fit/gap analysis
  • Support staff in the use of HR Information Systems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring excellent customer service is provided.
  • User day to day functional support for payroll/HRIS application as appropriate, escalating to HRIS Manager or Technical Lead.
  • Lead on the set up of system configuration relating to ongoing maintenance and provision of new sites
  • Ensure system reflects ever changing needs of business landscape such as TUPE and divestment
  • Monitor and ensure system compliance is in line with legislation such as PAYE, Pensions and any statutory changes.
  • Functional support and sign off for UAT
  • Lead on functional support for projects.
  • Responsibility for maintenance of organisation hierarchy HR & Payroll systems.
  • Lead on functional integration between HR, Payroll, ATS, Rewards and Benefits Applications.
  • Working collaboratively with the HRIS Reporting Lead and Technical Lead to ensure the HRIS Strategy is delivered in an efficient and timely way.
  • What we would like from the HRIS Application Lead:           
  • CIPP or equivalent Payroll qualification
  • SME within iTrent application including Payroll, Pensions & Benefits and system configuration.
  • Advanced level Excel skills, competent with Word and Powerpoint.
  • Exposure and management of external third party providers.
