Job Advert Role Description

Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute and young people’s wards (CAMHs).

We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment.

This post is ideal for someone looking for their first role in generalist HR, or hoping to build on previous experience. 

You will be given the opportunity to support the Site HR Coordinator along with Regional HR Advisors, the Hospital Director and other site Managers in providing a range of services. 

You will be responsible for processing monthly payroll for a large number of employees, using the Priory Payroll system.

You will also be responsible for co-ordinating and monitoring the implementation of strategic learning and development initiatives at a local level in liaison with the central learning and development function, line managers and approved training providers ensuring training is delivered in accordance with company policy and statutory regulations. 

Previous Administrator experience is essential. A key part of this role will be good organisational skills with great attention to detail. You will be expected to work in a busy environment with a varied and often demanding workload. 

This is therefore a brilliant opportunity to develop your HR skills and expertise and gain good exposure to working in a busy hospital environment.     

This role is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave until 03/09/2021.
