We are looking for a Housekeeper to join us at Stockton Hall Hospital to deliver a high quality housekeeping service within the hospital to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our patients. We are always on the lookout for people with transferable skills and life experience and so you don’t need any experience as our friendly team at the Hospital will teach you everything you need to be successful in this role! You just need to be a good communicator as you will be interacting with our patients and colleagues at the Hospital.

Stockton Hall is a highly specialist 112 bedded hospital where patients requiring medium security can maximise the value of therapeutic interventions available.  The patient group consists of men and women with /Mental Illness and/or Personality Disorder and men with mild to moderate Learning Disability / Autistic Spectrum Disorder.


The hours for this role are 10 am  to 6 pm and you will be working every other weekend
The hourly rate is £9.06
As a housekeeping assistant, you will be required to deliver an efficient and high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the hospital to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our patients. Experience in previous cleaning roles isn’t needed, as basic training will be provided
Key duties include:
• To deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment in line with operational standards 
• Identify and report any damages or faults to ensure quality standards are met
• Using cleaning equipment efficiently and effectively 
Free meals will be offered on duty.
There is free parking at the site as well as being on a main bus route

This role offers plenty of variety and everyday will be different but some duties will include:

  • Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.
  • Ensure that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all hospital areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
  • Identifying and reporting damages, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet our high quality standards and statutory regulations.
  • Use equipment efficiently.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality and identity of patients residing at the hospital.
