We are looking to recruit an HR Business Partner to join our Priory Adult Care Division as the go-to HR lead in a region covering circa 75 sites, spanning across the South West of England and Wales

This is a remote based role, and the candidate will need to be based in South West region.  Although mainly home-based at the moment, there will ordinarily be regular travel (3-4 days per week) within the region required as part of the role.

Reporting to the HR Director, the HR Business Partner will partner with the regional Managing Director to develop a people agenda that enables the business to deliver outstanding adult care services that make a difference to the lives of those we support. The HR Business Partner will provide practical and strategic support to the regional Senior Leadership Team and site leaders across the full spectrum of HR disciplines including induction, employee relations, talent and performance management, leadership development and employee engagement to ensure we have a stable, high quality workforce.  The role will also be responsible for the management of a Regional HR Advisor.

Previous experience of working as a business partner in a fast-paced, multi-site and geographically spread environment in sectors such as healthcare, leisure / retail hospitality or similar is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure provision of professional and legally compliant HR advice to the business on a range of people related matters and topics, bringing a people perspective to the senior management teams decision making process.
- Work with the MD and the senior management team across the region to develop a strategic people agenda, which aligns with and supports the broader operational agenda.
- Take responsibility for the colleague engagement agenda to improve the overall colleague experience and ultimately, increase attraction and reduce turnover
- Adopt a strategic perspective towards the people resources in the region, developing a talent map and succession plan for key roles and working closely with People Development to enhance and develop the skills of the workforce
- Responsibility for the development and management of the Regional HR Advisor
