Priory Hospital Burgess Hill is an adult specialist mental health hospital located in West Sussex just off the A23 near Brighton.

With a CQC rating of GOOD, you would be working in a forward thinking hospital supporting our patients recovery alongside a highly skilled and dedicated team.

We are currently looking for Bank Catering Assistants who are interested in expanding their knowledge, and who are interested in working varying shifts including weekends and bank holidays, as well as cover for annual leave. As a Bank Cook you will be on a casual contract, giving you the flexibility to work when you are able to.

Our Catering Assistants assist our Chefs with the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, as well as ensuring that the kitchen and catering areas meet operational hygiene standards.

Unlike many other Catering roles, the shifts at Priory Hospital Burgess Hill do not include split shifts or late evening work. A typical shift would be 10am - 6pm and you will work weekends on a rota basis (approximately every other weekend).

In this role there are opportunities to apply for company funded training and development relevant to your role. We have a career pathways system which encourages our staff to develop within their area and you will be fully supported to do so.

What we need from you?

- Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills

- Understanding of basic food hygiene

- Excellent organisational and communication skills
