Supporting You in London and Thames Valley provides innovative and creative support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health problems to live the lives they want and to achieve their goals.

We work with individuals who require support and assistance to live as independently as possible whether this is providing support in peoples’ own homes or via our outreach services. The level of support can range from a couple of hours per week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We provide support to individuals who are funded directly by the Local Authority, have a direct payment or individual budget and some people buy in support privately.

Job Advert Role Description

As an Administrator you will provide efficient and effective administrative and secretarial support to the 8 sites within SYI London & Thames Valley, including:

  • Document and report production, telephone enquiries, diary management, payroll input meeting and greeting visitors and other administrative tasks as appropriate.
  • Handle external and internal enquiries, recognising the level of importance of particular enquiries or issues and applying the appropriate prioritisation.
  • Passes issues and enquiries on for appropriate action to ensure the highest level of service.
  • Making sure that all information and documentation is correctly processed in line with policies and procedures in order that regulatory, statutory, compliance and financial requirements are met.
  • Maintains the audit trail ensuring up to date and accurate information can be provided or accessed as required.
  • Updates staff and resident records and central and local database systems, ensuring accuracy of all data input.
  • Ensuring the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.
