Job Advert Role Description

The Stroud Services are split into two key areas: Eating Disorders & Rehab & Recovery.

Stroud Eating Disorders Service (SEDS) is a residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young peeople and young adults (aged 13-25) suffering from eating disorders and other associated complex mental health difficulties. We do this across 3 residential homes.

Althea Park House (7 beds) for those aged 17-24. It also has The Anchor in the grounds (3 beds).

Ashleigh House (6 beds) for those aged 13-18.


Both homes are in Stroud.

Stroud Rehab & Recovery Service (R&R) is a residential service providing medium to long-term support and treatment for young females aged 13-25 with complex mental health and risk taking behaviours.

Newcombe Lodge (8 beds) for those aged 13-18.

Bisley lodge (4 beds) for those aged 17-24.

The homes are in Bisley and Chalford.

The role is across 4 sites: Althea Park House, Ashleigh House, Bilsey Lodge & Newcombe Lodge. It is fundamentally concerned with maintaince of each home. This involves being responsible for completing and evidencing Health & Saftey Checks and maintaining the home and grounds.

The role requires a driver, due to the geography of the 4 homes. There is a car available for the Maintenance Assistant during working hours. You will also be provided with a laptop and mobile phone in order that you are contactable by the homes, can liaise with external contractors and can manage invoices relating to the maintenance of the homes.

Working hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
