Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides; medium secure, low secure and acute services.

We also provide Acute Services within a newly refurbished environment. The successful candidate will be involved in ensuring that this new service is functioning well and where required.

We are looking for a part time Housekeeper to join the Priory Enfield Hospital, to deliver a high quality housekeeping service within the hospital to assist the well-being, comfort and development of our patients.

Priory Hospital Enfield is a 53 bed hospital in the Borough of Enfield and is situated with very good transport links. The site provides; medium secure, low secure and acute services.

The housekeeping role involves working in close liaison with the Head Housekeeper and clinical staff ensuring a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital.

This role will suit someone who is able to work as and when required to cover when other Housekeepers are on not on the rota. Start times will vary from 6 am to 10 am. Previous experience is not necessary however a friendly, caring attitude with understanding and respect for people with mental health needs is essential.

Duties include:

• Deliver and maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, in line with operational standards and ensures that work processes comply with statutory regulations.

• Ensure that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all hospital areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.

• Reporting damages, faults and other related issues to the maintenance department to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet our high quality standards and statutory regulations.

• Use equipment efficiently.

• Ensuring the confidentiality and identity of patients residing at the hospital.
