Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Adult Acute and young people’s wards (CAMHs).

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HCPC registered Psychologist to join our thriving service, qualified in psychological assessments e.g. ADOS for CAMHs and Adults. You will be working across Highlands Private Acute and Outpatient day care, you will be required to identify and deliver appropriate and relevant treatments and interventions to people with varying mental health needs within a hospital setting.

If you meet the following criteria we invite you to apply :

You are an experienced and BABCP accredited CBT Therapist, or a clinical or counselling psychologist with extensive CBT training and experience.

The applicant will have at least one years’ experience of delivering CBT to clients with a variety of mental health needs. They will have experience of facilitating CBT groups whilst also treating patients on a 1:1 basis. They should have experience in treating depression, anxiety and PTSD.

You have experience and willingness to work across a variety of age groups and varying presentations.

You have an excellent and demonstrable track record in working in a high pressured and demanding environment.

There is expert supervision available in the department provided by BABCP accredited supervisors and you will have access to training outside of the hospital. The therapy department is highly valued by staff within the hospital and feedback from service users is overwhelmingly positive.

The service is part of the wider therapy department which also includes Clinical Psychology, Art Therapy, CAT and Systemic Family Therapy.
