Job Advert Role Description

Llanarth Court Hospital is a 96 bedded forensic hospital providing a secure environment consisiting of medium, low and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and or personality disorder.

We are looking for an Administrator to join the friendly team at Llanarth Court Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide an efficient, professional, and effective administrative support to the nursing admin department and other delegated departments. To regularly liaise with staff and agencies to ensure staffing shortfalls are filled throughout the hospital. Maintain systems for the filing of paperwork. Report accordingly to Commissioners and inform the Director of Clinical Services of any discrepancies. Liaise with Ward Managers on a daily basis to fill shortfalls in staffing for all shifts, day and night. Assist the Ward Managers with updating staff rotas. Keep an accurate database of Bank Staff. Maintain accurate records of bank availability. Maintain a central pool of unused availability each month and promote this.

Ensure the effective operation of delegated administrative processes and procedures.

The role holder should :

Be educated to GCSE level or equivalent standard, with a high level of English and numeracy proficiency

Have Effective communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required with excellent organisational skills.

Have Sound written and verbal communication skills

Have Good computer skills (MS Office package) including Excel, ECDL would be advantageous.

Be Flexible amd adaptable with particular attention to detail.

Have strong customer focused attitudes and a good team working ethic
