Job Advert Role Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our team in our children's home in the Lostock Hall area of Preston on a permanent basis.  The successful candidate must have or be working towards a Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Duties include:

  • Supervising a specific team and group of young people on specific shifts
  • Manage the effective implementation of learning programmes 
  • Be responsible for dealing with issues and incidents on shift and support staff on to maintain effective relations with external agencies.

This is a physically demanding role and staff will also need to have the confidence to deal with the challenging behaviours that autism can present.
