Job Advert Role Description
We are seeking Learning Support Workers to join our teaching support team.
Duties will include working 1:1 with learners in a college environment as well as supporting independence and employability skills.
We are looking for part-time applicants who could work either of these hours:
- 24 hours per week
- 32 hours per week
- 16 hours per week
Please specify how many hours you would be interested in when applying.
Applicants may have achieved, or are prepared to work towards, a NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care/children and young persons and have experience of working within the educational/care environment.
It would be preferable if applicants had previous experience of working with students with special educational needs and Autistic Spectrum Conditions. A knowledge of welsh language is also desirable but not essential.
Staff may be required to work outside term time if training is required. The successful candidate will hold a full clean driving license with access to their own vehicle as travel to other colleges in the area may be required.
Priory College North Wales is a specialist further education college for learners aged 16-25 with Autistic Spectrum Conditions, Asperger Syndrome and associated conditions. Priory College North Wales works in partnership with College Cambria to deliver mainstream education with tailored support in education, independence and communication skills.
