Priory Hospital Hemel Hempstead is a 38-bedded rehabilitation and recovery service, which offers a safe and supportive care facility for male and female patients with enduring mental health problems. Many of our patients have behaviors that challenge and some have complex physical health care needs as a secondary diagnosis. The hospital is located on the outskirts of the M25 – Junction 20 with easy access to London and the M1
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Lead Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic psychology department providing services across three adult units. The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of a high quality clinical psychology service.
Suitable candidates will have a high level of knowledge and skills in assessment and intervention with people with complex mental health needs, drawing flexibly on a range of models such as CBT, DBT and PBS and will enjoy working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Equally important to the role is the provision of consultancy, supervision and training to colleagues and participation in research, evaluation and service development as appropriate.
The successful candidate will need to hold a HPC registration
