Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity to work within a friendly team situated at a beautiful site in the New Forest?  If yes, then now is the time to join the team at Southampton Priory.


The Kingfisher ward (CAMHS) is in an exciting phase of development, working closely with the local provider collaborative and working towards QNIC accreditation.


We are looking for a part time Clinical Psychologist to work alongside our current Psychologist and wide MDT to provide quality care to the yound people on the ward.  You will be working closely on a daily basis with the following professional groups; Psychiatry, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Family Therapy, Social Work, Activities team and the Education department.


As a Clinical Psychologist, you will have experience of providing assessments and interventions to young people who have experienced significant trauma and attachment issues.  You will also have experience of supporting the wider MDT, including nursing colleagues through supervisions and reflective practice.


Your Responsibilities:


* Acts as a role model to promote a culture of learning development, inquiry and a team vision.

* Managing and supervision of junior staff

* Providing evidence based assessment and interventions for Young People on the unit

* Provide support to the wider team including reflective practice

* Works with the Ward Manager to identify areas for development and supports the team with implementation of new initiatives

* Actively supports and contributes to effective Mutli-Disciplinary Working.


To be successful in this role, you will:


* Be a Clinical Psychologist with HCPC registration

* Have experience working with complex cases, ideally within a CAMHS setting

* Have evidence of Continued Professional Development

* Have effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
