Job Advert Role Description
Devon Children's Services currently have two educational settings, Quay View School and Tor View School, and four Childrens Homes across Devon.
Devon Children's Services are looking for Night Support Workers to join their team at our Children's Home, Gunnislake. We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join the team in this new home.
We are offering both part-time (20 hours) and full-time (40 hours) contracts so salary will vary dependent on your contractual hours.
Due to the location of our sites having your own transport or access to your own transport is required.
As a Night Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our service users. Through a creative and caring approach, you will build good relationships with both service users and their families and other stakeholders, supporting service users in the planning of goals and in teaching them life skills. Both personal care and participation in activities are key tasks for the role, so energy and initiative is vital. As part of your role, you may be required to work at one of our other homes.

Candidates must have either:
- A Level 3 Diploma in Children or Young People's Workforce or willingness to undertake this qualification within a robust timescale
