Job Advert Role Description

We are looking for passionate, energetic and aspirational individuals to work within our children's home in Usk, Monmouthshire.  Our home is located near the M4/A449 and is a three bed home for young people aged 11 to 16 years old with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Our Residential Support Workers provide day to day care for our young people.  This could include supporting them in activities, encouraging them to join local clubs, ensuring all health needs are met and supporting them with their education.  Our Residential Support Workers are crucial to increasing the self-esteem of our young people and equipping them with the knowledge and ability to keep themselves safe. 

Ideally, candidates will have some previous experience of supporting young people with additional needs in a residential environment.

It is an essential requirement of this role that applicants hold a full driving license.

We use a rota system to ensure the young people in our home get the care they need.  This may include working some weekends and bank holidays.
