Job Advert Role Description
Centrally located with easy access to Tunbridge Wells, Hastings, Ashford and Maidstone, The Priory Hospital, Ticehurst House has 70 beds across 3 service lines: Private , Adult Acute and young people’s wards (CAMHs). We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist mental health services for young people and adults in a safe and supportive environment. We have recently expanded our service with the addition of a newly purpose built 12 Bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

We are seeking to appoint a full-time speciality grade doctor to work primarily on our inpatient Tier 4 CAMHS Unit at The Priory Ticehurst House.
You will be part of a full multi-disciplinary team and you will be responsible for the medical and psychiatric assessment and treatment of up to 13 patients with psychiatric illnesses.
You will be supervised in your role by a consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Experience in Psychiatry is essential and experience in Paediatrics or General Practice would be advantageous. There is no on-call commitment.
Own transport is required due to our rural location.
