Job Advert Role Description

Devon Children's Services specialises in high quality residential and educational provisions for children between 7-18 who may have SEMH and /or Autism. The safeguarding and wellbeing of our young people who may have experienced challenges in their lives is always paramount; along with encouragement to achieve their full potential.

Devon Children's Services currently have two educational settings, Quay View School and Tor View School, and four Children's Homes in Tavistock, Gunnislake and Okehampton.

We are seeking a Grounds Person to to help maintain our grounds at our 2 schools and 4 Childrens Homes.

You will help to ensure that the grounds and gardens are maintained to high standards to assist in the well-being and safety of our students. The role will involve a variety of maintenance jobs, with particular focus on the gardens and grounds.

Experience is preferred, and a flexible approach is a must in this varied and challenging role.

A clean driving licence and own transport is essential.
