We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our team on a 14 month fixed term basis.
The Social Media Executive will support the Priory’s Internal Communications team and the wider business with recruitment, social media, and communications. The Social Media Executive will produce and share great content, using a range of media across our social/internal comms channels to appeal to both potential candidates and our diverse audience of over 23,000 colleagues across 450 sites. 
The Social Media Executive will have exceptional written skills and a creative flair to ensure our content adds value and supports our core business objectives, and will have the ability to build great relationships at all levels within the organisation in order to find and share stories from our sites. They will also work closely with the recruitment team to attract quality candidates.  


Social Media Executive duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Producing content for the recruitment team, social media, intranet, emails, and newsletters 
  • Overseeing the paid-for advert budget, liaising with the finance team
  • Supporting the internal communications team with updating our communications channels 
  • Designing simple/adhoc artwork in-house 
  • Filming and editing video 
  • Replying to reviews and monitoring ratings on our Indeed and Glassdoor pages
  • Answering questions, comments and reviews on our recruitment social media pages


What we would like from the Social Media Executive:

 

  • A good understanding how social media channels, tools and technology help to deliver effective recruitment 
  • Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills with a flair for storytelling
  • An understanding of managing targeted paid for adverts on Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment 
  • Experience using PhotoShop and/or InDesign, Video editing software  
  • Experience of producing communications materials, working with in-house teams and with marketing, design and print suppliers
  • Ability to produce and edit visual, video or animated material to enhance storytelling is strongly desirable
  • Degree level qualification desirable
