Job Advert Role Description

Quay View School are looking for a Bank Housekeeping Assistant to join their supportive team for anywhere between 15 and 25 hours per week to carry out general cleaning duties.

The role is to work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the school and to ensure that it is a safe and comfortable environment at all times for our students, staff and guests.  There will be in house training as well as e-learning modules to complete as part of your training for the role.

The ideal person will need to be flexible with hours being worked over 5 days a week, preferably from 6.30am.  You may also be required to work at our other site, Tor View School in Tavistock as the needs of the service dictate.

Devon Children's Services is made up of two schools, Quay View School (Bere Alston) and Tor View School (Tavistock) and three children's homes based in Tavistock, Gunnislake and Okehampton.  We specialise in care and education of children and young people aged 7-19 with autism, learning difficulties, challenging behaviour and SEMH.
