As a Residential Support Worker you will ensure that the children and young people in your care are safe, healthy and able to make a positive contribution, realising their full potential through enjoyment, achievement and economic well being.

We believe Linden House Children’s Home is a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them.Set in a semi-rural location within four acres of beautifully mature grounds.

Linden House accommodates children and young people with a primary diagnosis of moderate to severe autism with moderate challenging behaviour and associated conditions such as ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome.  

This is a 52 week post, working 12.5 hours per week.

This role has been put in place to support a young man to access community based activities.

•           Previous experience in a special needs environment/school would be desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
