Job Advert Role Description

The Priory Hospital North London is recruiting for a number of highly experienced sessional Clinical Supervisors to support a diverse group of therapists within four different teams, this role is for a General Psychiatry Clinical Supervisor.

As Clinical Supervisor for the general therapy team you will be offering a reflective space for the team to explore both clinical work and group / MDT dynamics. 

The general therapy team is the largest therapy team in the service, providing support for acute adult inpatients, outpatients and day patients. 

The general programme offers one to one therapy and a daily group programme including: CBT, Psychotherapy, Psychodrama, Mindfulness, DBT, Schema Therapy, Behavioural Activation and Triple Chronotherapy for sleep disorders. 

You will be comfortable working within an MDT environment and supporting groups of professionals from different modalities. The general team comprises Counselling Psychologists, CBT Therapists, DBT Therapists, Psychodynamic Psychotherapists, Integrative Therapists and Assistant Psychologists, who may have differing views on how they conceptualise and formulate their clinical work. 

You will be a registered / accredited senior psychological therapist with a recognised qualification in clinical supervision. 

You will also be able to demonstrate significant self reflection and role modelling along with a history of supporting therapists and groups of professionals within an inpatient setting.
