Are you a caring and creative person who is passionate about making a real difference to someone’s life? We are currently looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Buckingham Lodge. 

Buckingham Lodge is a purpose-built care home designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care. Situated in a peaceful residential area in Carbrooke, Norfolk, the home offers a supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated team ensure we meet the individual’s care and social needs. There is an enclosed garden where residents can relax and socialise, and an open visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.

At Buckingham Lodge, our residents may be coming for a short stay or making a permanent move, but either way, we all ensure they will be happy here. Our team is engaged to do their very best to help our residents in any way they can to make their stay with us as comfortable as possible. We pride ourselves on offering residents choice in all aspects of their care in a warm and caring environment, where residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. 

We regularly organise a wide range of activities, entertainment and events each month, so that you can enjoy existing hobbies and even take up new ones including; Movement to Music, Games afternoons, Gardening, Arts & Crafts, Movie afternoon, International food day and lots more! 

As a Senior Care Assistant, both personal care and participation in activities are key parts of the role, so energy, excellent communication and organisational skills are vital.

Previous experience as a Support Worker or Care Assistant would be beneficial.
