Buckingham Lodge is a purpose-built care home designed for older people requiring residential and nursing care. Situated in a peaceful residential area in Carbrooke, Norfolk, the home offers a supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms and comfortable lounge and dining areas. Our dedicated team ensure we meet the individual’s care and social needs. There is an enclosed garden where residents can relax and socialise, and an open visiting policy and families and friends are always welcome.

At Buckingham Lodge, our residents may be coming for a short stay or making a permanent move, but either way, we all ensure they will be happy here. Our team is engaged to do the very best to help our residents in any way they can to make their stay with us as comfortable as possible.

We pride ourselves on offering residents choice in all aspects of their care in a warm and caring environment, where residents are treated with dignity and respect at all times. 
As a Care Assistant you will have a compassionate nature and play a crucial role in our residents’ welfare. We also have a dedicated and trained team of staff in the home providing a high standard of care to enhance resident’s quality of life.

We organise a wide range of activities, entertainment and events each month, so that you can enjoy existing hobbies and even take up new ones including; Movement to Music, Games afternoons, Gardening, Arts & Crafts, Movie afternoon, International food day and lots more! 

Our ideal care assistant will:

  • Be able to engage and develop positive relationships with residents
  • Be reliable, friendly and caring to help our residents achieve their everyday goals (including personal care)
  • Be able to support in house activities and hobbies
  • Engage with residents and their families to continuously develop care plans
  • Be resilient, attentive and ensure our residents are treated with the dignity and care they deserve
