Job Advert Role Description

Would you like to be part of a busy, vibrant and friendly Support Services team?

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor who will provide an efficient and effective maintenance service using their own skills and through the line management of a small team of Maintenance staff.  You may be a specialist in a given field or a general allrounder.  The successful candidate will need to be a confident administrator with IT skills as the work of your team will need to be recorded on our Pronett system.  You will co-ordinate the work of contractors whilst on site ensuring that safety, security and safeguarding of our vulnerable young people is maintained at all times.

The successful applicant will manage, oversee and undertake a variety of general maintenance jobs in line with quality standards and ensuring that work processes comply with statutory regulations.  This is a 52 week post.

Tadley Court school is set in a beautiful semi rural location with four acres of well maintained grounds. We are a day school specialising in the education and care of children and young people between the age of 4 and 19 years who are diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum with associated learning difficulties. Our children and young people may also exhibit challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding.
