28.5 hours per week (3 night shifts working Thursday, Friday and Saturday from the hours of 21:45-07:15)

Job Advert Role Description

Our children’s home in Basingstoke are recruiting for experienced, vibrant role models to join their team as a Waking Night Support Worker.  Our home is a comfortable, warm environment that supports the needs of children between the ages of 7 – 19 who have complex needs which include autistic spectrum disorder and learning difficulties.  Our focus is to support our young people to develop life skills and independence in a fun, nurturing and understanding way.

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will:

  • Ensure the young people in your care are safe by completing regular checks throughout the night
  • Be alert and observant at all times
  • Complete administration tasks and laundry.

This role is to work two nights per week on Sunday and Monday.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References provided must cover the last 3 years, for all of our services we will need to request all references from where you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults. Please be advised that references may be requested prior to interview for roles within our schools.
