Job Advert Role Description

As an established and well maintained children's home, we have an opportunity for a Deputy Registered Manager to support the Registered Manager to implement effective care and independence programmes.  Our home is a comfortable, warm environment that supports the needs of children between the ages of 7 – 19 who have complex needs which include autistic spectrum disorder.  Our focus is to support our young people to develop life skills and independence in a fun, nurturing and understanding way.

Our Deputy Registered Managers support with:

  • Driving continuous improvement, making effective use of assessment methods and working with staff to deliver excellent standards of care that comply with all relevant regulatory, governance and quality standards
  • Supporting the welfare, safety and progression of our young people
  • Supporting with the management of the staff team and robust monitoring of the work practices of new employees to ensure the home stays viable with the referral process and to maintain standards within the home.
