The Cloisters is a 25 bedded hospital (currently being extended to 34 beds) set within a peaceful environment on the edge of Newbury. Working in partnership with NHS Trusts, the unit offers inpatient individualised treatment and rehabilitation to patients who have mental health problems and require support to increase their recovery and independence with a view to enabling them to leave the hospital and live in varying levels of supported living accommodation

We are looking to recruit a motivated individual to work as part of our Housekeeping team. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering an efficient and high quality accommodation and housekeeping service within the unit. You will be expected to ensure that all housekeeping supplies are maintained securely and report damage, faults and other related issues to the supervisor and/or line manager. You must be reliable, punctual, trustworthy, and have a professional attitude to work.


Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment and COSHH knowledge is desirable but not essential as training will be provided. This is a full time post of 37.5 hours per week worked over 5 days, including bank holidays and weekends when required.
