Job Advert Role Description

Want to make money on the side, on top of your normal job? Want to make your own hours? Want to give the Private sector a go?

In 2020, we understand that some people don’t just want 1 job or 1 source of income. We understand that some people want the flexibility to work the hours they want.

Our Bank/Casual roles offer all of this, along with weekly pay and a full induction when you start.

We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic bank RMN’s to join our small and friendly team at The Manor Clinic in Southampton.

The Manor Clinic is a specialist inpatient private addictions unit, treating up to 13 residents both within a structured ‘28 day’ programme and shorter periods for medically assisted withdrawals. The clinic’s approach is modelled around the 12 Step programme, providing residents the opportunity to engage in this model of abstinence, while being supported on wider behavioural aspects of addiction.

We were rated ‘Outstanding’ for caring by the CQC during our last inspection, and are now looking to recruit to our pool of bank nurses who are passionate and proactive about delivering person-centred care.

We are proud to offer:

  • Flexible working hours; we can offer both long days (7.30am-8pm) and shorter shifts of early/lates (07.30am-2pm/ 1.30pm-8pm)
  • Paid training both face-to-face and via our online academy (that can be accessed from home!)
  • Free DBS
  • Competitive bank rates
  • Access to Career Pathways through our online training academy
  • Access to ‘Priory Perks’, our exclusive discount and rewards portal for cashback, savings on shopping, cinema trips and days out, gyms and healthcare schemes.
  • Access to the Priory colleague app, providing you remote access to ‘Proud to be Priory’ awards and a dedicated Nursing Hub
  • Supportive Senior Management and HR team based on site
  • Opportunity to work within a friendly and personable team

What we ask for:

  • Proactive nature in ensuring workload is completed in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring handovers are thorough between both clinical and therapy team
  • A positive and motivational approach and attitude to working and problem solving
  • Leadership qualities that enable you to effectively manage your shift and junior colleagues throughout the day
  • Person-centred approach to care planning
  • Ability to understand and formulate risk
  • A desire to put patients first, with a genuine interest in helping others
