With community-based residential care settings, as well as a network of supported living services, we support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) and behaviours that challenge. We also offer a range of residential and nursing care settings for older people with varying levels of need.

Job Advert Location Description

Atkinson Court is a purpose built nursing home located in Cross Green in Leeds. The home provides support for people with physical needs who require assistance and care. The homely and comfortable environment which has been finished to a high standard enables us to provide a person centred approach to our care that can be tailored to the individual needs of our residents. The home is designed to meet the needs of older people, providing comfortable lounge and dining areas throughout. There is a quiet room where residents can relax and listen to soothing music and the attractive enclosed gardens and roof garden provide residents with a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the outdoors.

About the job/role

As registered manager it will be your responsibility to effectively manage the full, day to day operations of the home as a business, ensuring the best possible care can be provided for our service users/residents. 

Ensuring delivery of effective quality care to the people we support, helping residents to grow in self-worth and where possible independently, enhancing overall quality of life.
Manage and maximise occupancy, by building a positive local reputation and through creative marketing strategies
Comply with all statutory and regulatory requirements meeting and exceeding care standards, taking accountability for the home striving for excellence, high ratings, and quality recognition within the local community
Positive management of staff including HR/supervisions/appraisal/staff training/ acknowledging and utilising staff potential (with the support of central service teams)
Maintaining financial efficiency and budgets for the home

We require a highly motivated and experienced leader who has the drive and passion to deliver excellent care and support. Putting your own positive stamp on the home and the business. To be considered for the role, you must be nurse registered holding a current NMC pin registration and have experience within a similar role.
