Knowing that you’re making a difference to people’s lives is rewarding in itself. But our many roles offer much more than that. As well as helping you grow and develop your talent, we want you to feel proud of where you work and what you do.

Job Advert Role Description

The Therapy Services at Kemple View aim to provide bespoke and individualised treatment pathways for male patients with complex mental health, recovery needs and risk profiles. Therapy Services include Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy and education, in both our Low Secure and Rehabilitation and Recovery settings. Therapy services staff work together as part of identified Multi-Disciplinary Teams with our nursing and medical colleagues, using positive psychology approaches with patients that aim to motivate, engage, develop and practice skills to achieve life goals and promote long term change to progress through the identified care pathways.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team and help lead the further development of our  "outstanding" service. Working alongside an established team of experienced Occupational Therapists and Technical Instructors, this role will enable the successful applicant to continue to develop their occupational therapy skills in core areas: there are extensive on site facilities and links with the community. Successful applicants will continue to get opportunities to develop their speciailist knowledge of occupational therapy as applied with patients with mental illnesses, personality disorders, significant physical health impairments and cognitive impairments.

You would also have the opportunity to work closely with the Psychology and Social Work departments, as part of the wider work of Therapy Services.
